Malayali Youth Online

Over the years the young Malayalee community has become fragmented because we are all scattered across the U.K. Unfortunately for many young Malayalees, and especially U.K born Malayalees, there are hardly any organisations that enable youngsters to meet and socialize. Being a Malayalee of the younger generation you may feel that although the MMA has a lot to offer, it does not fully cater to the needs of young Malayalees. Well this is soon to change!

In response to growing demand the MMA proposes to set up a Youth Forum for the children of MMA members. It is open to all children, including non-doctors and non-dentists. The proposed criteria to join the Youth Forum is :

  1. Anyone above the age of 16
  2. Children of MMA members and if they are married their spouses

The main aim of the youth forum is to enable the next generation to form a social network under the umbrella of the MMA. It is proposed that there will be Youth Forum representatives for each region of the U.K. It is proposed that there will be a Youth Forum social event held annually (for example: a Center Parcs weekend, New Year Ball) organised by Youth Forum regional representatives.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for young Malayalees to play a greater role in the MMA organisation and in the Malayalee community.
