Joining the MMA

As the association of medical doctors and dentist of Kerala origin, the MMA promotes social and cultural link with the Malayalees within Kerala, and all over the world. There is an annual event, stretching over three days,in which members can participate in the AGM and scientific meeting and enjoy sports, social and cultural programmes.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Spouse of a Member, Associate Member or Hon.Member is entitled to all the rights and benefits of a member except that he/she is not entitled to vote or to stand as a candidate for election to an office of The Association or its executive committee.
  2. Medical and Dental Students of Malayali origin are eligible to apply for Hon.Membership. They may complete a standing order to commence their subscription in the year they expect to qualify as a doctor or dentist. They automatically become Full Members of the association when their annual subscription is paid. No subscription is payable until they are qualified. If for any reason the applicant is not elected as a member this completed standing order will be returned to the applicant.
