Our Aims and Objectives

The Malayali Medical Association UK was founded in 1982.

Members are Medical & Dental Practitioners of Malayali origin, living and/ or working in United Kingdom. We endeavour to keep the cultural and linguistic heritage of this professional group, a legacy left to us by our forefathers, that binds us inextricably together through sharing not only our experience but also our expertise.

The Association's Main Objectives are:

  1. To promote and organise social, cultural and scientific events
  2. To help and advise newly arrived Malayali doctors on their career and training prospects
  3. To develop and maintain collaborative links with any other association for promoting the objectives of MMA(UK)
  4. To encourage continuing professional development for those in practice as well as for those considering working/studying in the UK.

MMA Events

The MMA Medical Conference and Social event are conducted together annually in July.

This annual event is a pleasant occasion when members share entertainment and dinner with exquisite Keral specialities

This also includes the Association's Annual General Meeting, an educational and scientific session, dinner-dance and entertainment.
